Searching for an affordable way for your son or daughter to stay on the ice this spring and play in one or more regional tournaments before summer, while also maintaining balance with your family’s already busy spring schedule?

We have the solution for you!

Stars Selects Spring Hockey is coming in Spring 2024 with 11 weeks of skills and intrasquad competitions and options for participating in up to three Spring Tournaments. Participation in tournaments is not required and families can pick and choose which tournament options work with their spring schedules. Here are the details…

Spring Hockey Skills and Intrasquad Competitions - Friday Nights *

Weekly Friday Night Sessions at Mt. Pleasant Ice Arena
Sessions begin Friday, April 12, 2024 and run through Friday, June 28, 2024.
No session on Friday, May 24, 2024 (Memorial Day Weekend).
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - 2024 8U and 10U (birth year 2014 and up)
6:45 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. - 2024 12U (birth year 2012 and 2013)
8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - 2024 14U and up (2011 and younger)
Cost: $250 per player. $50 discount for each additional family member.
Participation does not require tournament participation.

Spring Selects Hockey Tournaments. * **

Select one, two, or all three tournaments.
Tournament participation does not require Spring Hockey Skills Sessions participation.
A tryout session may be needed if there are not enough participants to field multiple teams but too many to field one team.
Registration fees will be returned if a tryout session is needed and a participant does not get selected, or if not enough participants sign up to field a team in that particular age group.
Tournaments
- Delaware Spring Thaw Tournament in Newark, Delaware on 4/19-21
- Cherry Blossom Tournament in Laurel, Maryland on 5/17-19
- Hershey Summer Sizzler Tournament in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 6/7-9
$185 per Tournament
Tournament Costs - includes tournament registration fee, double sided Stars Selects Jersey, and coaching expenses.
Additional costs may need to be incurred for any required hotel rooms.

* Participation in these programs does not require players to be current members/players with BYHC.
** Note that each tournament will require sufficient player interest in order to field a team (ideally 12+ players plus goalie).
