Travel tryouts have officially ended and a new round of competitive Stars teams are in the making! Congratulations to all of our players for their hard work on the ice and thank you parents for coming back to BYHC for another exciting season of hockey.
* A pre-tryout skate is available on April 6 from 11:00am - 12:30pm for 10U & 12U combined.
* A pre-tryout skate is available on April 20 from 11:00am - 12:30pm for 14U, 16U & 18U combined.
Girls travel teams will be formed by age based on turnout.
* Pre-tryout skates are part of the girls spring/summer skating sessions.
Travel teams will compete in the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League (CBHL). Travel teams may additionally choose to enter into the Eastern Junior Elite Prospects League (EJEPL). EJEPL consists of showcase weekend tournaments and additional league games with playoffs.

Stars Selects Spring Hockey is coming in Spring 2024 with 11 weeks of skills and intrasquad competitions and options for participating in up to three Spring Tournaments. Participation in tournaments is not required and families can pick and choose which tournament options work with their spring schedules. Here are the details…
* Participation in these programs does not require players to be current members/players with BYHC.
** Note that each tournament will require sufficient player interest in order to field a team (ideally 12+ players plus goalie).

The 14U Travel team participated in the 2023 Crabtown Showdown and came home champions! The entire team played with heart and determination netting 21 goals and 4 shutouts over 5 games. A great few days of hockey!

Since 1961, the mission of the non-profit Baltimore Youth Hockey Club and its previous formations has been to teach the youth of our community the sport of ice hockey and to develop team play and individual ice hockey skills through clinics and programs of ice hockey competition emphasizing sportsmanship, cooperation, self-discipline, self-confidence, individual responsibility and respect for others, while providing a great ice hockey experience. It’s the stated goal of our club to offer this hockey experience on several levels: Solid AA, A and B-level travel hockey, an always-solid rec-hockey program, plus girls only teams when possible and the Patterson Park Stars community service program.
