Kyle Roepcke, skater on our Squirt Travel 1 team, was injured during a game against the Frederick Jr. Freeze on October 4th. He had surgery and is well on his way to recovery! Kyle surprised everyone this past Wednesday when he dropped in to celebrate his 9th birthday at the rink… his teammates were all smiles to see Kyle up and about! The team and BYHC Board gifted Kyle with some new replacement hockey gear, but Kyle brought the greatest gift to his teammates by allowing them to see his beaming smile and determination to get back to hockey as soon as possible. Kyle is shooting to hit the ice again before the New Year! Huge thanks go to Susan & Kurt Roepcke for bringing Kyle out to celebrate with the team!
